9月20日が初めてのシングルモルト発売日だったのですが、メールマガジンで先行発売を開始していました。
そして驚くことに『16,000本』の一部が、メールマガジン到着後37分で即時完売！という事態に…。日本に入荷するのはおそらく来年以降になると思いますが、人気爆発する可能性が高い蒸留所です。

この度、6年2ヶ月間という「天使たちの力」を借りて、アードナムルッカン・シングルモルトの第一弾を10月上旬から中旬に発売することになりましたことをご報告できることを嬉しく思います。
プレオーダーの素晴らしいチャンス！
私たちは、十分な量をボトリングすることができるように時間をかけて準備をしました。
最初のバッチは「16,000本」で皆様に十分にお楽しみいただけることを願っています。
この度、友人であるロイヤルマイル・ウイスキーズを通じて、数量限定でプレセールを行うことにしました。
先着順でお客様お一人様1本に限定されています。

プライベートカスクボトリング
最初のリリースに向けた最終準備を進めており、また、カスクのボトリングをご希望のカスクオーナー様にボトリングサービスをご提供する準備も進めています。2021年の初めには、物流、コスト、パッケージングのデザイン、利用可能な追加オプションについての詳細をお知らせします。
お客様のカスクをボトリングしなければならないというプレッシャーはありませんし、ウイスキーの準備が整うまで熟成させることをお勧めしますが、お客様の中にはボトリングの手順を考え始めたいとお考えの方もいらっしゃることは承知しています。

注文が殺到し、37分以内に全量を完売しました。
その後のメールや電話の数から判断して、ボトルを確保できなかった方も多くいらっしゃると思いますが、数週間後には一般発売されますので、たくさんの在庫を用意しています。

We’re very excited to see the milestone release from Adelphi’s west coast highland distillery. The inaugural batch of Ardnamurchan single malt whisky has been bottled from a 50:50 split of unpeated and peated spirit using 65% ex-bourbon casks and 35% sherry casks. The bottle will be equipped with a QR code for you to access the blockchain technology which will provide the entire supply chain history for your bottle (incredibly innovative stuff!). Batch 1 is limited to only 15,950 bottles worldwide.

Dear Ardnamurchan Private Cask Owner,
I am delighted to report that, after a patient 6 years and 2 months of allowing our angels to do their part, we will be releasing the first Ardnamurchan Single Malt in early-mid October.
Unique Opportunity to Pre-order
We have waited that extra time not only to ensure the quality is to our expectations, but also the consistency to be able to bottle enough volume for this and subsequent releases. While we hope that the first batch of 16,000 bottles will be enough to reach and be enjoyed by everyone, we have taken the step to make a limited number of bottles available for presale via our good friends at Royal Mile Whiskies. This allocation is only available to you on a first-come-first-serve basis, limited to one bottle per customer, and orders can now be placed via this link – ORDER SINGLE MALT using the code ad2020caskowner. They are then aiming to have the whisky ready for initial despatch towards the middle of October. Details on the whisky itself, if you haven’t already seen them, are on the order page.
Please note that if you are unsuccessful in obtaining a bottle from the presale allocation, there should still be plenty to go around in the general release to the UK and export markets (excluding the USA which will be 2021). Further details on all our stockists can be found at Adelphi & Ardnamurchan Stockists. Going forward we are planning as continuous supply as possible of the Single Malt, so hopefully it will become a regular (open) bottle on your shelf.
Private Cask Bottling
With final preparations for the first release now underway, we are also taking steps to prepare for offering our bottling services to those cask owners who wish to bottle their cask. Early in 2021 you will receive further details on the logistics, costs, design of packaging and additional options available. There is obviously no pressure (from us) to bottle your cask, and we would certainly recommend leaving it to mature until the whisky is ready, but we are very aware that some of you would like to start thinking about the procedure.

A quick follow up to this afternoon’s email.
Firstly, many thanks to all of you who placed an order in the Ardnamurchan Single Malt pre-sale via Royal Mile Whiskies. They were inundated with orders and sold the entire allocation within 37 minutes.
Judging by the amount of emails and calls that we have received subsequently, there are many of you who weren’t able to secure a bottle, and I just wanted to reaffirm that there should be plenty on offer from the general release in a few weeks’ time. The actual stock won’t be ready until general release as well.
We will be sharing further information on the general release date via our social media channels, so please join us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn if you haven’t already. Once we have a confirmed date, you should then be able to find the whisky on the shelves, or online, at our national and international stockists, HERE, but please note that stock will take longer to reach markets outside of the UK.
We have been humbled by the response to our first Single Malt and, once again, our huge thanks to you all for supporting us.
